What is it like to teach high school kids?

I am on my way to becoming a teacher and am currently debating which age group I would like to focus on or work with specifically. I would strongly encourage you to get out there and volunteer with different age groups to determine which you like best. I have worked with kids of all ages and I think the best way to find out what you prefer is to go out there and see for yourself. Teachers are always a fan of extra help! Just be sure to check in with different schools and organizations ahead of time to be sure you meet any requirements. Good luck!

Have you been abke to take any human development classes? This helped me so much as a teacher. Every age group can be a challenge and a treat depending in how you see them.
