David’s Answer

Those are very different professions. May I ask what you are looking for in your future profession? Have you experienced chiropractic care before?

Note that different chiropractic schools have different thoughts and reasoning behind adjustments. Some are more "old school" in their teachings about adjustments such as Palmer school. I highly recommended National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. Very well rounded chiropractic education and always evidence based.

Colin’s Answer

Chiropractic schools (academically) should be pretty similar as long as they maintain their accreditation. From there, it depends on whether your personal paradigms align with an evidence-bases approach or "philosophy based" which is primarily the fundamental tenents chiropractic was originally based from. Entire schools will base their belief systems off of an evidence based or philosophy based style of teaching and it can be a bit weird if you find yourself in a school you don't personally align with.

Regardless, make sure you look up each school's core values to make sure it aligns with your own.

CJ’s Answer

If you are in the state of North Carolina then your choices limited to the universities that have a dental school which are UNC or ECU. Note you don't have to start out at either one... an example would be a former classmate of mine that attended NC State University Undergrad and then went to UNC for dental school and is now a very successful orthodontist.
