What should be my first step to become electrician
I’m a student at Edison high school and would like to be an electrician or a mechanic, I’m think of going to school for electrician but would like to work right away. I don’t know what I should do first school or work. I love working with my hands so I’m very sure about going into trades.

They'll be able to provide insight into the courses your school offers that could set you on the path to becoming an electrician. I'm inclined to believe that your school might have a career pathway for trades, possibly in collaboration with a local trade school. This could give you the chance to start taking relevant courses while you're still in high school. Even better, this might pave the way for you to step directly into an electrician apprenticeship upon graduation.
