How do you know which university is worth going to?

I'm thinking about going to Full Sail University but I've heard the cons about it as well, such as high tuition rates, blacklisting students, its for-profit, accelerated courses, and nontransferable credits. #career #decisions

You can make a few phone calls or visits to get helpful information. I would suggest making phone calls or visits, because you can then carry on a live in person two way dialogue, which will allow your to gain more valuable information than trying to use the internet or some form of messaging or texting.

  • Call or visit the person at your high school who tracks graduates of your high school to locate and visit or talk to graduates of your school who went to Full Sail to learn about their experience and learn what they are now doing.
  • Call or visit the person at Full Sail who tracks graduates of Full Sail to locate and visit or talk to graduates of Full Sail to learn about their experience and learn what they are now doing.
  • Call or visit the local office of the Better Business Bureau to see if there have been any complaints filed against Full Sail.

.

Thank you comment icon Thank you so much for the advice! I'll certainly look more into it and search for feedback from past students/graduates. Lily

If you're not pursuing specific fields like medicine or law, it doesn't really make a large difference which university you attend. I would make affordability the top choice and choose a city that you would like to explore in when you're not busy. If there's a tie in the above, try taking a visit to campus and seeing which ones you feel most comfortable walking around at. You'll be spending a lot of time there, so you want to make sure you feel at home.
