In addition to Alecia's answers, reach out to resources at your university as well.

Focus on your portfolio, and try to make it stand out. An image is worth much more than words, considering that hiring managers spend on average 30 seconds to a minute per portfolio. Use issuu.com to see other portfolios in order to understand your competition.

Felicia’s Answer

I would approach your university job placement area as a start or reach out to your professors in your major.

All colleges have a job placement program to assist students in finding jobs in their field. Also I would use LinkedIn to find an internship or entry level position.

Enter key words as "architect internship" to help facilitate your search.

Good luck in your job search!
