That's a really good. I am glad that you are having an attitude to help the poor. Becoming Prime Minister is not impossible but its very difficult. First you need to have a vision on what do you want to do for the people. I would suggest you to develop skills like oratory skills, leadership, confidence building and convincing. You need to keep reading lot of Biographies of various leaders of the world, Autobiographies, You need be well versed with political situations of various countries especially neighboring countries. For this you need to dedicate atleast 3-5 hrs of reading every day. You need to understand both perspectives.

Hi, Farheen! Prime Ministers come from many different educational backgrounds. However, generally, they will have attained a graduate degree in some discipline.

That said, reaching a political office like that requires getting to the right places with the right people. I would recommend finding colleges + career paths that have a history of integration with political office and political groups more broadly. Build relationships with influential people. Join a campaign for a candidate. So on and so forth. Then, when you have support from political allies, you can run for local office -- do a good job -- then run for bigger and bigger posts until you get to PM.

There's never a guarantee of that, however, as politics is a volatile job market.

That said, Farheen, if you're interested in helping poor people I want you to know that there's a lot of other parts of government and other organizations that you can be a part of --

You can work in the non-profit sector
You can work in grant making for a foundation or a big business
You can work within your own community, volunteering or organizing
You can make money in business and give it back to your community
And, also, you can join the government at many different levels (e.g. Department of Health and Human Services, as doctor, etc.) and impact the development and implementation of public policy

Keep that in mind!
