I think anything that is worth doing is doing right so if you truly want to be a dentist I think you should work hard to do your best.

I know admissions to Dental Schools is a competitive process. As Jill indicated, you can see what Dental schools require in terms of your college GPA as well as the expected score on the Dental Admission Test. Like any advanced degree in the medical field, there will be a heavy focus on science and anatomy. In order to pursue that as a career, it is important that you enjoy those subjects.

It depends by what you mean by that :) Do you mean what grades you have to have in classes before dentistry school? That you can look up by looking at the Dentistry schools and looking at minimum and average GPAs.

Do you mean how hard is Dentistry school? That depends on a lot of factors, like how hard it is for you to motivate yourself, get reading assignments done, understand mathematical concepts, etc. It also depends on how good of a dentist you want to be.
