I'd say Shopify or Wix are good sites to use! If you have a good following on Instagram, I think you can open up a successful shop through that platform! I know Instagram has recently added a few features to engage with customers more. I think you would need to have a Facebook page to start selling on Instagram.

There are a number of ways to build a website. It all depends on how dirty do you want to get your hands. There's the original programmer way of coding the website and then there is more simplified way that is available now days to the public using platforms that already have the layouts and stuff and you pick/select and drop them and add content to them. For you probably the latter may be a better option. Once your business starts growing you could hire someone to build a more professional website with your own domain.

There are many services that can help you with building an online store. You will need to figure out how much you want to spend and how much work you want to take on. Some suggestions:

Wix
Squarespace

I would leverage an existing ecommerce platform such as Shopify or BigCommerce. These platforms allow you to easily put together an ecommerce website with your specific branding without necessarily needing software development skills. This will allow you to quicklyvalidate your clothing/brand idea without needing to invest all the time, effort, and money in building an e-commerce website from the ground up.
