What should I do to get ready for the Air or Space Force?
What should I be able to physically withstand? I'm interested in becoming in astronautical engineer in either force.
What are the steps to get into the each force?
What soft and hard skills will I need ?

What should I be able to physically withstand? It will depend on your age and career but for basic training you should be able to run a mile and a half in under 12 minutes, do 70 pushups in a minute and 50 crunches in a minute. Do not be discouraged if you cannot do that now but that is what you want to start working on. Basic training will get you to where you need to be but you should start those exercises.
What are the steps to get into the each force?
Go see a recruiter for each force, ask a lot of questions. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until you are sure again ASK QUESTIONS.
What soft and hard skills will I need ?
The jobs you are eligible for will be determined by the ASVAB. If there is a particular job you want ask the recruiter what scores you need in each section. Take ASVAB practice exams, schedule ASVAB test with recruiter.

Again depends on the job you want. Little secret about the military, you can join the reserves or guard and pick your Job before you join, Active duty you will fill out a dream sheet!

My answer and recommendation depend on if you want to enlist or commission. If you want to enlist, there isn't really much preparation you need. A recruiter will help with some, but almost all of your preparation is done at boot camp. It is their job to prepare you and turn you into a basically trained airman.

You do not need money or a degree if you would like to join the Air Force right after high school.
There are two paths to joining the Air Force (or other services) from high school: Enlisted or Officer. You will need to take a test called the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) which will give you scores that determine which type of jobs you are qualified for in the Air Force; the higher you score, the more jobs you are qualified to choose from. You'll need to be between the ages of 18-39 to join. You will need to be physically fit: A female under 30 years old needs to do a minimum of 18 pushups in a minute, 38 situps in a minute, and a 1.5 mile run under 16:22 in order to score for the test. The Enlisted path from high school just requires a GED or high school diploma. Good grades are not necessary, but good study habits and retention of information will help you to do well, especially in basic training and your technical school training.
The Officer path from high school requires going to college first and graduating with a four year degree. While in college you can also be a part of the AFROTC (Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps); you'll have to check with the college if the ROTC program is available. The ROTC program will help you to understand how the military works before you join.
Please do your research before speaking with a recruiter so you'll be prepared. You will have to be adamant as to which career you would like to work and not have the recruiter "lead" you into a job you would not want. They have to fill the career fields that do not have enough people.
