Amazing question.
I believe vets would have acquired different techniques of fun with animals over time, especially during the course of their studies in higher institution. It's really not manifest to ordinary person who is not that field.
However, Vets like to touch animals on their sensitive part of like the head, back, ears etc that suggest human - animal friendship.
Some take delight in treating animals of their diseases, while others have fun in taking their samples.

There are so many fun things we do! First and foremost being, puppies and kittens! In reality, it’s not puppies and kittens all the time but it is extra special when you do get to work with them! I think there are certain aspects of the medicine that people become really interested in and it is fun for them. Some things that I find fun/exciting is technical skills (drawing blood/suturing/setting catheters), imaging (ultrasounds/radiographs), and cytology.

Well, veterinarians change the lives of animals on a daily basis. They have a very special job. I’m not a vet, but I’d assume seeing all types of animals is very fun. Or even trying to solve a case on what disease, disorder, infection etc. and animal may have. Vets also can do surgery, so that’s gotta be fun too!
