What classes should I take next year?

I am a 10th grader and I am currently taking these classes:
AP Psychology- really really hard
Honors Biology- okayish only if I study
Chemistry (regular)- hard
Algebra 2 w/ trig (regular)- easyish
English 10- easy
French 3- easy

These are the classes I want to take in my 11th grade:
AP Biology
AP Physics
AP English Language
French 4
precalc w/trig (regular)
drama and speech (semester1) and drama 2 (sem 2)

Is my transition for my AP classes going to be hard and do I have the base ready for the classes I want to take next year?

I am currently aiming for pre-med in college. There are very few chances that my hopes to be a premed might change.

Thank you comment icon Hi Annie, great question! You asked about your transition into AP classes. There's no way to sugar coat it-it's not easy. Be prepared to be doing homework and studying constantly. Just remember that it's all worth it in the end when you get college credit. Since you're strongly considering the medical field, I would suggest taking a class like anatomy and physiology. I would also strongly recommend AP Chemistry even if it's hard because you will need a strong background in it for medical school. Hope this helps and I wish you the best! Mireia
Thank you comment icon Thank you so much for your response! I changed my mind because I thought that my schedule was too hard. Now I want to take AP biology, IB chemistry HL, regular physics, IB math SL, french 4, Advanced composition A (semester1) and Advanced science fiction (semester2) Is this a good idea and am I going to have the time to also study for the ACT or SAT? I want to go to the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor or Wayne state university for premed. Is this going to help me? Thank you! Annie

AP calculus, bio, chem, and physics are all excellent preparation for the pre-med classes. If you have seen this information before, you will have a better chance of getting an A in the class in college.

According to research, since you will be in 11th grade next year you should take at least 2-4 or more AP classes. I would suggest that the rest of the classes you take be honors courses. Take AP courses in the subjects that come more easier to you and honors courses in the subjects that yo find more difficult.

How Many AP Classes Should a Junior Take?

Regular online classes for Juniors in high school are increasingly popular - and advanced placement courses are following the trend. eAchieve Academy recommends your student take core AP classes such as AP Sciences or AP Foreign Languages come junior year. Students should take two to four AP classes junior year, but should be careful to not spread themselves too thin. Its important to keep in mind Wisconsin high school students take the SAT & ACT their junior year. An applicant with a strong test score will look better much better than an applicant who took six AP classes, but had a less than average GPA.
