It’s Professional Services Week!

TLDR for students: Ask questions this week about careers in consulting, accounting, audit, and tax. Starts Monday 9/25 and ends Saturday 9/30!

There are over 1.3M jobs in accounting and audit in the United States, and the US Department of Labor calls it a high growth sector, growing at 11% per year. Whether you’ve ever considered a future in these sectors or not, this week is for you! During Professional Services Week on CareerVillage.org we’ll be inviting volunteers working at companies in the consulting, accounting, audit, and tax industries to answer all of your questions about what the industry is like and what you can do to get your foot in the door. These are professional, high-skill, high-pay, and highly engaging careers that could be a great match for you whether you know it or not!

Featuring professionals at PwC 🙂

We’re doing everything we can to make sure that there are tons of professionals in this industry to answer your questions. We’ve worked with PwC, a professional services firm with over 50,000 people providing audit, assurance, tax and consulting services. PwC professionals come from many different educational backgrounds including degrees in business, accounting, technology, and management. They will be able to answer questions about majoring in business, taking the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, what it’s like to intern at a large company, or how to build a strong resume — and so much more. We’re excited to have them, and many others in the industry on the site this week!
