STATEMENT OF PURPOSE I am Dr Iroegbu Chukwuma Chinedu, i obtained Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, at the College of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, department of Medicine, Awka in 2017. I have obtained skills and experiences in area Clinical medicine and believe these experiences are necessary for professional development. A National honor held was Head of Health Community Development Services at National youth service, due to my selfless humanitarian service in health education and clinical management. Applying for student volunteer in Canada under Medicine/Healthcare. As clinician with background knowledge of medicine, medical ethics and law in medicine, Medical research and management, I believed the background knowledge has really built me for the task ahead and developing my career professionally. This has been possible through international researches, journals, clinical reviews, medical seminars and symposiums I have exposed to over the last years of clinical practice. The program provides me with the opportunity to learn more about higher educational standard in area of Safety and risk management, which are very important in Africa students,Not only a crucial part of Healthcare but constitute an essential element for achieving gender equality and promoting rights. I have several educational and life fulfilling opportunities to work with several organizations, thereby, contributing to the field through the knowledge. In addition, the program of student volunteer help me to further my understanding in management and, students' expectations and knowledge about school prior to enrolling in their respective institutions by participating in pre- school programme and medical researches. I have chosen this programme in Canada, because of their capacity in training student with high educational standard and judging from their excellent Alumni. My personal goals are to learn in this volunteer student programme, as this would strengthen my awareness about trends within the field and how I can contribute to the overall mission and purpose of the profession. helping to shape my clinical understanding in human development. I would someday become member of student association in student Affair. I believe my past and current experience have prepared me tremendously to serve in senior level. Moreso, volunteer student program in Canada, is ideal, because of modern facilities in training students with academic excellence more that europe where Africa students run to. It's also standardized environment with people of different sociocultural background with aim to achieve a high degree of professionalism. Hence,applying for the program in a special environment of learning, for educational and professional development. Finally,I believe my experience have greatly prepared me for the program. I am confident that, this program will continue to enhance my understanding of higher education and prepare me to meet other colleagues, and future colleagues as well as my community development, improving quality of life in Africa and also internationally.
