I live alone with no support, first time in college. I work hard and try everything that I can do to better myself. My #life lesson is still pending to me.

I'm South Asian, muslim, and a woman, and so far I've not experienced a lot of sexist or racist treatment, but I expect I'll run into it eventually. Is there any ideology I should keep in mind, or any resources I should look into?

I have the option of finishing college in only 3 years instead of 4 but I am getting a mix of options from that. My parents believe college should just be to go in and get out as fast as you can, but alumni and other adults say i should take the 4years to really live out my time and not rush...
