Carrer Choices

I am thinking of pursuing a degree in finance but don't know if I should. The business world is very competitive and I'm not sure if I am cut out for the environment and hustle. I am thinking I want a career as a Personal Financial Advisor, if anyone in the career or something similar to the...

Counselors

I like helping people and I love to give advice so I thought about being a high school counselor or something along those lines would be a career path for me. I just don't know what a counselor would major/minor in or the process it takes to become one. Anyone who knows anything would be a huge...

If I am planning on majoring in something like Psychology or Pre-Med, would it be strange/frowned upon to minor in a language or possibly have a double minor including a language and some other science?

when going for a msw is it better to get a clinical social work or a family and children focus if I want to have a group home. Considering some children may need to be diagnosed before entering the group home.

I was told that if I wanted to own a group home I would need to have experience working and dealing with children but someone recommended the clinical social work degree saying that it would include knowledge of childhood development and would give me more reach as a social worker. #social-work

What are the challenges of creating and operating a group home in Georgia?

I have noticed that the orphanage concept is not very common in the US but I have seen several group homes and children shelters. I would like to have a group home or shelter but operate it more like a traditional orphanage if that is possible. #social-work #social #hospital #medicine #college...

What is the best way to manage several workloads. I get overwhelmed and excessively nervous when I have so much workload that I spend time trying to calm myself than actually getting the work done.
