Hi Kali,
Travel nurse housing is simply a temporary place to live that healthcare workers on the move rent while they're on their travel assignments. It's usually an apartment, hotel, or rented room. The type of housing you get depends on the company you're working with and the length of your assignment. So, the specifics can vary based on the situation.

Travel nursing can be extremely lucrative! But be open minded! Alot of travel nurses live in extended stay hotels, short term rental apartments or travel trailers (campers). It all depends on the type of contract that you choose. Some people do 3, 12hr shifts and go home, some might work at a certain location, on call for 6 to 12 months. Personally I would prefer the camper idea! But not for the social butterfly, or someone that doesn't like being alone in new places. They all have draw backs.
Google local short term housing
Look at a camper, compare cost!

While I may not be a nurse, I do possess some knowledge about travel nursing jobs. The firms that manage these positions often offer housing solutions for extended stays. Traveling to new locations, encountering new individuals, and balancing work and travel may seem thrilling - but it's quite a demanding job. You'll find yourself working with a new team and adapting to new systems every few weeks. A significant part of being a medical professional involves teamwork and trust in your colleagues and established procedures. Therefore, it's an aspect worth considering. I would suggest gaining confidence by starting to work in a single location before contemplating travel jobs.

Being a traveler nurse can be very exciting, to be able to go to places you want to go or have never been. While completing an contract, your employer can sometimes assist you in finding housing. In my most recent assignment, I stayed at a AirBNB location I found myself. I have also known of nurses in the community/hospital you are going to allow you to stay with them. You can try to find a short term rental or stay in a long-term hotel such as Extended Stay.
Good luck on your further research.

Most of the time, you'll be provided with accommodation during your contract period. In some cases, you might be given the option to choose your own housing, or even receive extra money to find a place that suits you. This largely depends on the agency you're working with, the location of the facility, and of course, the terms of your contract.
