What kind of clothes and safety gear do tree trimmers have to wear?

might be a strange question, but as someone who recently considered pursuing being a tree trimmer, I'm really curious what one has to wear while on the job. I'd imagine some safety gear might be needed, but what in particular is required?

Thank you comment icon Hello Devan, Your inquiry is right up my alley! You're the ideal mentor for me, yet my forte lies in economics, which limits my ability to provide guidance. I would recommend exploring this intriguing topic from an Artificial Intelligence viewpoint or continue seeking advice from my colleagues. May blessings always be upon you! Isida Mici

Hi there what a great question. I just had a company out here doing some work and they were amazing. I observed that they had on very strong overalls (protective ones). They wore hard hats as well and when they used the electric saw they had on protective goggles. It's such a great to learn from someone and have a mentor that can teach you the trees. :) Best of luck! It's in high demand here where I live.

Tree trimmers wear specialized safety gear to protect themselves from job hazards. Essential items include a helmet with a face shield or ear protection, high-visibility clothing, and steel-toed boots for safety. Gloves provide grip and cut resistance, while chaps protect against chainsaw injuries. A climbing harness and ropes are used for safe tree climbing. This gear ensures protection from falling debris, cuts, and other risks, promoting safety while working at heights and with equipment.
