what does an Arborist's typical work schedule look like?
I'm considering becoming an Arborist, and I'm curious about what the work schedule is like. Does it change often? how many hours a day does one usually work?

What a great profession! We had one come out not too long ago to check on a tree. They can work independently or in our case he worked for a tree company. Typically the complete a program in the field of master gardener, forest program or horticulture. There are 2 and 4 year programs. With such a focus on sustainability, I would imagine this field is very popular. It's a great job to be outside and so important. Where I live if you want to take down a big tree here you must get it evaluated. Good Luck!

An Arborist's schedule can vary, depending on the season and location. Typically, they work full-time, 40-50 hours a week, with some overtime. Days often begin early and involve physical labor, like tree pruning or removal. Schedules may change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or client demands.
