what kind of and how much experience do you need to be a coach of a basketball team?
I know i'm probably not good enough to become a basketball player more than maybe like D2 or D1 in college, but I like coaching and being able to teach plays and be the executor of a team. Also, how much do college coaches make, assistant and head coaches?

Hi Bo,
If you're aiming to gain experience as a basketball coach, consider becoming a basketball student manager at the school you plan to attend. Opting for a larger basketball program could be especially beneficial. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with college coaches, learning from them daily. Additionally, these coaches can be invaluable for networking, potentially assisting you in securing a coaching position or finding a related job that could lead to a coaching career after graduation.
