How viable is an digital art career of any sorts?

I have plans to be a digital artist but I want to know how viable it is in the future.

Hi Vincent! Digital art is a very exciting space and you can explore many different options for a future career path. I work in software and we are always in need of talented designers to help bring the vision of the product to life. Whether it's video games, marketing, or anything audiences "see" on screens, there's an opportunity for you to fill that gap with your art. I also know digital artists personally that have successful careers so would say it's not only viable but a very exciting option if that's where your passion is!
