Max, it’s awesome that you’re already thinking ahead! As a future business major, the best extracurriculars are those that highlight leadership, teamwork, and your passion for business. Consider joining or starting a **DECA chapter** or participating in other business competitions like **FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)**—both are fantastic for building skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance. Launching your own small business, starting a **school store or fundraiser**, or even creating a **financial literacy club** can show initiative and creativity. Internships or volunteering with local businesses or nonprofits are also great ways to gain hands-on experience. By diving into one or two of these now, you’ll have impressive accomplishments to showcase on your college applications!

Hello Max! Some very good answers already have some great ideas. If you school does not have FBLA, DECA or other related business club/org, you could join another club and take a position that allows you to perform business duties. Another idea would be to volunteer with local nonprofits. Good luck!

Max, as a business student, it's crucial to engage in extracurricular activities that match your academic and career goals, show leadership, initiative, and a strong work ethic. Think about participating in or creating a business-oriented club, like an entrepreneurship or finance club. This will help you gain practical skills through activities such as case competitions, workshops, or networking events.
Consider internships or part-time work in business-related areas. These offer real-world experience that will significantly aid in your development. You could also consider volunteering for leadership positions in student organizations or even starting a small business or side project to display your entrepreneurial skills.
Participating in competitions like stock market simulations, business plan contests, or mock investment groups can improve your analytical and strategic thinking skills. These activities will not only help you build a comprehensive skill set over the year, but they will also be greatly appreciated on college applications due to their demonstration of dedication, passion, and a forward-thinking approach to career readiness.
