Does Majoring in Biology give you props when applying for a job in a vet's office?
I want to go to vet school after Community College and I love bio #biology #veterinary #veterinary-medicine

Yes, there is a lot of lab work to study when you are taking up biology courses which will definitely help you understand the cell structure in animals
Like Jeffrey said, being a Bio major will help you understand the lab tests and practices happening at a vet's office if you worked/volunteered there as an undergraduate. To prepare for taking qualifying exams to be admitted to vet school, being a bio major will automatically take care of some of the prerequisite courses. You should look into vet school (or vet tech training) qualifications now to have a good idea on what you can cover while you're still in college.
