What are some of the top medical schools in the United States?

I am currently enrolling in the University of Miami as a neuroscience major and want to eventually make my way to medical school, what are some of the better schools in the nation? #medicine #college-selection

A good place to start when you are investigating the quality of programs is US News and World Report. I did research there for graduate and undergraduate programs. I linked the site's ranking of the top Med Schools below.

Any medical school will prepare you to become a great surgeon. I chose state university for college and medical school to save money.
If you want to pursue a research career in academic medicine you might consider an elite private school like Harvard, Johns Hopkins or Stanford.
