What animal can sleep for up to three years without eating ?

I have heard there is an animal that can love up to three years i could search on google but i am curious to hear what you professionals have to say and is it true?

Hey Chad, great question! And yes, it’s true—snails can sleep for up to three years without eating!

When the environment gets too dry or harsh, some snails go into a deep hibernation-like state called estivation (which is basically nature’s version of "I'll just nap until things get better"). They seal themselves inside their shells with mucus to stay hydrated and wait until conditions improve. Don't go asking how I know this lets just keep it to ourselfves! 😉🤐

Honestly, if snails had a spirit animal, it would be me on a Monday morning—just sleeping through the chaos, waiting for better days.

So next time someone tells you they’re exhausted, just remind them: “At least you’re not a snail. They take THREE-YEAR power naps.”😪😴
