3. Join Health-Related Programs: Look for programs like HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) or similar health-related extracurriculars to gain hands-on experience.

4. Research Surgical Tech Programs: Start exploring accredited surgical technology programs at community colleges or technical schools to plan your next steps after graduation.

Can you take medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology? Also, you might reach out to a local hospital and chat with them and see if you can shadow to see what we do in a typical day. Best of luck!

There are already two very good answers here. Not much to add at all. Now, you are in high school so I would actually recommend opening up the learning experience. Round out the sciences with some arts or other discipline maybe?
