Keep in mind there are strict rules in place for NCAA student athletes. You must complete a percentage towards your degree after each year in school to remain eligible to participate in your sport. My advice is to find something that you enjoy or remain broad/general studies your freshman year until you find your passion. Study hard and do not allow yourself to become lazy in your studies, C's and D's can keep you off the field. After your freshman year your will have to declare a major, and if your grades slide you may not have enough credits to remain eligible to play. So study hard and understand the amount of dedication you out into becoming an all star on the field, it takes the same dedication to your studies to be a STUDENT-Athlete.

Hello Brody!

If you like sports consider majoring in Sports Management, Communication, or Journalism. Also, you could become a Football Graduate Assistant.

A Football Graduate Assistant will help get your foot in the door to becoming a football coach. You'll have to keep your grades up, learn the various applications used for creating plays, while organizing and working with various coaches.

Many Graduate Assistants played the game of football, and earn money while working in the football office, upon BA or BS completion. Good grades are key.
