Sarah’s Answer

Hi Andrea! As an interior designer, my favorite part of the job is hearing how happy my clients are with their new spaces after we've finished. However, my second favorite part is that I am able to work with and support so many other businesses through my own work. It takes a lot of different types of businesses to complete an interior design project.

Hi Andrea! 😊

That’s such a great question! My favorite part of being an interior designer is seeing a space transform from an empty or outdated room into something beautiful and functional. I love bringing creativity to life, choosing colors, furniture, and decor that match my clients' dreams. But the best part? Seeing their happy faces when they walk into their new space for the first time!

Thanks for asking, and keep being curious! Maybe one day, you’ll design amazing spaces too! 🎨🏡✨

Marilyn’s Answer

My favorite part of being an interior designer is interacting with clients and bringing their dreams to life. The entire process—from understanding their vision to seeing it come to reality—is incredibly fulfilling. While it can get stressful at times, I remind myself that clients are putting their life savings and trust in us to create something special. That responsibility pushes me to give my best and makes the final outcome even more rewarding.

Mauricio’s Answer

Dear Andrea,

Im happy helping people transforming their spaces into more than just beautiful places. I love creating environments that reflect who they are, tell a story, and make them feel comfortable and happy. I also believe it’s important to design thoughtfully, choosing materials and solutions that respect the planet. For me, design isn’t just about decorating—it’s about giving each space meaning and creating a legacy of style and harmony.

May the force be with you!

Céline’s Answer

Hi Andrea. My favorite part of the work is to be on construction sites with contractors and solve problems. After you design a space, there are many things that can go not quite as you planned them! When you have a good team of contractors, you brainstorm with them to find the best solution that will allow you to make your clients' dream come true. And at the end, your client is happy and won't even know that you had few little bumps in the road! Some interior designers may never set their foot on a construction site, and this is not something you have to like doing. But this is by far my favorite part, and I feel that it is an important part of the job to learn: to get your clothes dusty, dirty, and understand the contractors' language. If this is not a part you think you will enjoy, then the job of interior decorator is definitely much cleaner! Good luck!
