How much money (one average) does a speech therapist make?

I am trying to figure out how much money I will make after I earn my Master's Degree. Will I struggle to pay off my student loans? #speech-language-pathology #speech-therapy #speech-pathologist

Thank you comment icon Megan, it seems as though the average yearly amount for pathologists jumped from $66,920 in 2010 to $74,680 in 2016. The highest paid speech/language pathologists earned more than $116,810 in 2016, while the lowest-paid earned less than $47,070. Still a very decent sized salary if you love what you do. Best of Luck to you hon! You are going to make a Huge difference in so many people's lives! My cousin suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) from a car accident and essentially had to re-learn language. What you will do will have a meaningful impact on so many. Good Luck! Callie Stroud

According to the bureau of labor statistics, in 2018 speech/language pathologists made approximately $77K per year, but, as others have pointed out, this would vary per state
