What is the best way to obtain financial aid?

I have been applying to many #scholarships but nothing has responded to me and I am starting to get nervous as the school year approaches. I do not know if I am looking at the wrong websites or if I need to do something different.

Thank you comment icon I actually started January 2018 and 6 months later… pays off! The site Going Merry helps connect students to scholarship $$$! + you get to meet a lot of amazing supportive people! I met Stanford Grads, business people, doctors, dentists, engineers, etc! With this extra help, I’m pretty much set this year for at least tuition (I am not factoring in other expenses) sooo... help yourself out too! If you are motivated you can start to earn $$$ too! Going Merry makes things easier, but you still need to put in the hard work! My advice is put in the effort now (take the time to apply) so you do not have to worry in the future (ditch the loans, no more debt!). >>> https://www.goingmerry.com/c/caitlinp-l0dy (refer for free swag! Hi Kayla,

I am sorry to hear about your trouble so far. I am not sure if you would qualify as I do not know your financial situation, but for lower income students you can apply for a Pell Grant or Stafford loan by filling out a FAFSA form (free to fill out). In my Senior year I filled out a FAFSA form and it turned out I was entitled to a sizable Pell Grant which greatly helped out in my financial aid.

Otherwise, speak with your school's guidance counselor or contact the financial aid office at the school you are interested in attending and they should be able to provide you a list of scholarships available to you. Going to the source is always the best alternative.

Thanks!

Mike
