How do I go about job shadowing Nursing Midwives?
I'm a freshman in high school and I've decided I want to be a Midwife. I just don't know how or when I should try to schedule an appointment for job shadowing. What goes on while job shadowing a Midwife? #nursing #medicine #nurse #babies #nurse-midwife

It is luckily fairly simple. Find a nurse midwife clinic/practice and contact them there or you may find a hospital whom employs midwives and contact their HR department for information on shadowing. Not too many hospitals employ them so you may have more luck finding nurse midwife practices near you and contacting them directly. Just like it comes with people, some are different than others and some midwives will be receptive to shadowing and others will not. Good Luck!
