What career paths could I potentially be in ?

I am currently 16 and a junior in high school, I take a Arts and Media class but I am unsure that I'd like a career path in that but more of a engineering interest. What steps should I do to know what to do for the future?

Imagine if your dream job could just land on your doorstep like magic! But here's a thought—why not take the first steps towards making it happen? Start exploring engineering today! You can take some STEM classes, join a robotics or engineering club, or find online courses that spark your interest. Try shadowing an engineer or doing an internship to see what the field is really like. It's a great way to find out if you love solving problems and working with equations every day. Dive in and discover your passion!

I would suggest you attend some hands-on workshops that might be open to high school students in both Arts/Media and Engineering to have an idea of what they do and see if it's something you have a passion for.

For you to really know if it's a career you will thrive in, you need to know if your passion lies there, ask yourself do I derive joy in this thing even if I am not being paid for it?

Thank you for your question I am glad to hear that you have a wide range of interest.
Below are my suggestions:
1. There are different engineering streams and art & media related careers. Would you like to be an electrical & electronic engineer, mechanical engineer, civil engineer, Web designer, graphic designer, web developer, etc. you can find out more related careers online
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
