Do I have to apply for merit-based and need-based scholarships Or are they awarded to me? ?

I am a senior in high school, and I keep wondering if I'm missing a deadline or if it is going to be awarded to me after I enroll.

Most scholarships (both merit- and need-based) require you to apply. Be sure to research and apply to all scholarships you're eligible for to increase your chances of receiving financial assistance.
