What are your best studying tips when going into college?
I'm an incoming freshman in college and I am wanting to learn new and better ways to study. I've had trouble studying in the past and am wanting advice from others who are confident in their studying habits.

Hi, thank you for your question. You have to develop a revision habit everyday. Firstly, you need to find a time management tool to help, e.g. google calendar, ms outlook, phone calendar, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put down the time you need to attend lecture and tutorials every day
2. Assign some time everyday on you assignment, projects, etc. Review the material covered in the lecture on the day. If you have any question or anything unclear, ask the tutor on the coming tutorials.
3. Allocate your time properly to complete the projects before deadline to prevent last minute rush
4. Make sure you have enough time to sleep and do some exercise
5. Assign more time for revision before assessment
6. Form study groups with your classmates that can help you to deepen your understanding on the materials
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi Isabella,
Great question, and it's awesome you're thinking about this before starting college. One of the biggest things that helped me was staying organized. Use a planner or even your phone calendar to keep track of assignments, deadlines, and exams so nothing catches you off guard.
Instead of cramming, try studying a little every day. It helps you actually remember things and lowers stress before tests. Also, figure out what works best for you. Some people like flashcards, some like writing things out, and others need to talk it through. Test out a few ways and see what clicks.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help either. Go to office hours, join study groups, and talk to classmates. College is a learning curve for everyone, so just keep trying new things until you find your rhythm.
