Nurse anesthetist career pathway?

To become a nurse anesthetist, am I only required to attend a graduate school and obtain my master's degree or has it changed to now requiring a doctorate? Thank you!

Good morning! The requirements have changed, all graduate nurse anesthesiology programs are now doctorate level. You will obtain a bachelors degree in nursing and then complete a minimum of one year ICU experience (every program has different requirements so more may be needed) before you can apply for a graduate program. It’s a long road of schooling but a great career choice! I have been working as a CRNA since 2020. Best of luck to you!
