what community colleges are best for nursing?
hello, my name is Kayla. I am in the 11th grade and I am going to Independence High School in the fall of 2015. I have always been interested in helping people and making sure they are okay. I am asking this question because I will be going to college soon and I do not know what I want to do as a career yet, but being a registered nurse is one of the major things I would like to do with my life. #nursing #registered-nurses

Hi Kayla,
Great career choice, I have have some friends that are nurses too. As far as nursing programs go, most of them have to be licensed and certified through the state that you live in ... so they are pretty equal on the community college level. I would suggest checking with some local colleges and asking them about their programs, if they help you find a job, etc.
Also, your state should have a nursing certification agency or board...http://www.rn.ca.gov/, here is the link for the CA state agency.
