Being in the ER is very fast paced. As an ER Physician, you're seeing acutely ill patients. Just like with any fast paced job, you learn to manage the stress.

Hopefully, you never watched E.R TV series, because real E.R. is different thing :), in E.R you will see people in their worst day (gunshots, pain, stabbing injuries, intoxicated … etc.), so you need to take responsibility and doing you best to make them alive again, and to that you need to be very patient and wise in decision, in E.R you might get swear at, insulted or even slapped on your face, you need to ignore all of that and focus on your mission, which is keep them alive till the patient become sober and awake, remember always they are in E.R on the worst day on their life, so don’t expect them to be smiling and funny, because there is no fun in pain. Also, you need to update and you maximal effort, because again this is not a TV show, sometimes you going to find yourself working alone (because obviously, some people are jerks and they don’t care), but remember you are not boss of anyone, so your job as a doctor is to be a wise person and always behaved to ask people gently to assist you in your job (because there is not I in team)
