I chose to major in Chemical Engineering more through a process of elimination than truly understanding what opportunities would be available to me as a Chemical Engineer. I had no real interest in the types of careers that I thought were possible for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers.
What makes you excited about Engineering? What type of environment do you want to work in--office, construction site, lab, manufacturing? What courses are you willing spend lots of time learning more about?

Yes. There is a specific field of engineering best suited for you. During my many years in Human Resources and College Recruiting, I have found that it is very important for one to take the following steps to determine which would be most appropriate. Too many times I hired a college graduate, who skipped these steps and found that he/she did not like the practical application of the area which he/she had studied.
