Hey Cheyenne!

I'd suggest you narrow your search by looking at scholarships with less competition that you're more likely to get. If you're still in high school these may be local scholarships which you can find in your guidance counselor's office or by reaching out to community organizations like the rotary club or your local dollars for scholars group. Sometimes local businesses may have niche scholarships too.

Similarly, if you check the financial aid office of the university you're going to be attending they may have scholarships applicable to your field of study or class year.

In addition to narrowing your scope, you can try to maximize your chances by leveraging any essays or applications you fill out. When you dig through potential scholarships, look for ones with similar essays or standardized applications so that you aren't completing them from scratch each time.

Best of luck!
