Hi, Brooklyn!
How are you? It’s super that you’ve done sufficient self-reflection that you recognize your tendency toward visual learning. The next step is figuring out how to play into that strength.
I wonder what kind of graphic organizers you have for yourself, and what kinds your teachers have helped provide for you. Here’s one place to start:

Just about any behavioral therapist can also recommend graphic organizers. For the need to read books, you might want to consider buying/renting from a library an audiobook version. You can either listen to the book and/or read and listen at the same time. I am an audiobook narrator, and I was astonished to learn at an audiobook conference (yes, there is such a thing) that somewhere around 60% of audiobook listeners also read the text along with listening.
My son is a better visual learner, and these tricks help him, though they are not a magic pill. I hope they help you as well!

I'm the same way. Therefore, will suggest to start with the easy steps:
Take notes during class
If can make 3x3 note cards and put them all over the place for you to read around your room.
later before end of day, collect the cards and just read from beginning to end. This way will remember and won't be hard for your to memorized.
good luck
