How should I go about making my own major if my school does not have a make a major program? The program I want is a subset of another Major.

I want to focus on entrepreneurship, but that is a subcategory of the Mareting. #college-major #majors #choosing-a-major

Totally agree with Ria's answer! You can also take electives that match with that concentration while still doing a broader major. There may also be clubs or associations you can join that also align with that concentration. Internships too!

Since entrepreneurship is a subset on the marketing major, you may be able to major in marketing while taking more courses focusing on entrepreneurship. Typically majors will have "tracks" or "concentrations" that allow students to specialize in a certain area within their major. For example, I majored in Human and Organizational Development, but my track was International Leadership and Development. You can talk to the department staff and see what other opportunities there are to engage in entrepreneurship even if that is not explicitly a course in that field.
