Hi Kellen,
Awesome question. The answer is YES, many companies focus on hiring recent college graduates. Companies every year need to fill their ranks of junior level employees to compensate for the employees getting promoted, moving around in the company, quitting, or moving to a competitor. Because of this yearly churn, most companies recruit from colleges to find their next group of entry level of employees. Colleges are a really easy way for companies to find new young talent as literally a university is where all the trained/skilled young people are. My company, PwC, visits my university every year looking for new entry level associates.
Companies will often have jobs set aside for young people where you can only apply to if your are below a certain age/ graduated during a certain range of years.
I would advise looking up companies that you are interested in and check to see if they have posted entry level jobs on their website. Also go to your university's student career center and ask a career adviser if your school does on campus recruiting. You school's career adviser will know all of this and more!! They are best able to help you and should be able to direct you to resources which should help you find a job post college.
I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!!
Best,
Austin
