Christine’s Answer

I was more and more motivated as I gained experience with internships and work-like experiences. I could see how my courses and studying were paying off and could be applied to my career. I also saw others who had not completed school end up in jobs they did not enjoy or find rewarding.

Stephen’s Answer

Early on, I would recommend thinking about what your purpose is in becoming a healthcare professional. In other words, what are you are trying to contribute to society , and what are you trying to accomplish for yourself in your future career. If you can remind yourself along the way about your ultimate purpose, it will continue to motivate you.
