Jorge’s Answer

You'll have to attend medical school which is 4 years plus the time to do your residency in psychiatry, another 2-3 years. Before medical school you'll need to have completed an undergraduate degree, 4 years. So in total it's about 10+ years after high school.

Michelle’s Answer

It's actually 12 years total. 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school and 4 years of psychiatric residency. Every year of the 12 is different from the last so it seems to go faster than it sounds.
