Deidre Mercedes’s Answer

I am a contract Spanish Instructor. I completed an undergraduate degree which in my country took 3 years because we do 2 years pre-university studies. I then did 2 years graduate studies in France and one more year in the US. Having a basic college degree is the minimum. You can then go on to a Master's degree but that is not necessary. There are many graduate studies program you can take to advance in your career field of choice. It all depends on what area you are most interested in. I must warn that some careers like counseling, law, medicine do require further studies but you can be successful with an undergraduate degree.

Deidre Mercedes recommends the following next steps:

Research educational requirements in the field of your choice.
