Britt’s Answer
Generally speaking, most sports sciences majors require classes in basic biology, as well as anatomy and physiology classes. As the previous poster suggested, this is determined by the school and the department. The school I taught at required a few departmental bio classes in health sciences and two sections of anatomy and physiology, as well as a genetics class with lab. If you know the schools you are considering, you can check out the departmental websites (keep in mind that they may have slightly different wording for the major), and that should tell you the core requirements, as well as course sequence and course descriptions.
Research the schools you will consider attending
Visit their departmental home pages to find the major that appeals to you
Read the core requirements and course sequence for your major
Read the course descriptions.
