Stay up on all the readings, PRIOR to class. Review within a couple of days after the lecture. Make sure to resolve any points you do not fully understand, by rereading, Googling, discussing with classmates, emailing the professor, or meeting with him/her during office hours. Do not skip over stuff you don't understand and think you won't see it again. . . you will!!

Go to every class. You might be tempted to sleep in, or skip a class because you are tired. Get up and go.
You never know what will happen in class. You could learn something that will change your life forever.
