Hi Mirella,Great question, I would suggest majoring in something that you are passionate about and supplement that with something that is an in-demand or generally useful. For example that could mean majoring in sociology as your passion and then taking a second major in computer science. Or another way to do it would be to major in something from the humanities/social sciences (art, psychology, history, etc.) and then have a second major in STEM (chemistry, math, computer science, etc.) This would also give you broad knowledge and skills. Here is a link that describes what I am saying in depth. https://www.eab.com/research-and-insights/continuing-and-online-education-forum/studies/2014/t-shaped-professionals

Try an Interdisciplinary, Liberal Studies, or General Studies major, that will let you combine multiple interests. Or an Individually Designed major that you can even name yourself.

In general, I'd recommend getting two different majors that can open different doors should you need them to. One example that comes to mind is journalism and marketing. You could find different jobs with these different majors, but they also have components that you could apply to the other major.
