Howdy neighbor,
I say that because I was born and raised in the Austin area. The University of Texas- Austin School of Law or UT Law is generally considered one the most prestigious law school in the Southwestern United States.

Great question! I would say to steer clear of for profit commercial colleges and stick to tradition colleges and universities such and state/public and private/non profit colleges and universities. Use US News and World Report to get a read on best law schools in the United States. There are all types of traditional colleges and universities with good law schools. Some of these include; ivy league schools, historically black colleges and universities, public state colleges and universities, and private nonprofit schools. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
