Yes. I recently judged a school competition where one of the schools used augmented reality to showcase their hair salon. It showed the store front and the interior of the salon. Their model was based on, if you were at a hair show, you could use the glasses to see what their salon looked liked and enticed people to want to visit.

Have you ever seen those apps where you take a picture of yourself and then it puts a filter over your hair to change the color? Or you can put on a sample hair style to see what you look like?

Imagine those, but instead of an app it's live video, in real time. You can virtually color the hair, virtually cut the hair, apply different makeup treatments, take it off and practice as much as you need to without all the mess and mistakes on a person!
