I will be attending dental school soon, but the cost has been weighing heavily on my mind. What are some key ways to minimize expenses during dental school and to pay off debt quickly afterward?

I would love to own my own private dental practice someday but do not know how feasible it would be if I entered into it with the burden of a large debt. #dentistry #private-practice

Hey Emily,

The cost of Dental school can be great, but the value of the degree will out way the negative costs. Just think about the future. Ways to minimize expenses would be to speak to the school where you will be practicing and ask them about ways in which you can become a student worker on campus and ways you can be engaged in the community of dentist. I would also recommend getting a roommate, and learning to cook, take some cooking classes now at a local community college now, to invest in cooking and culinary skills that will help you later on down the road.
